Keratin/K-tip Bonds hair extensions
Custom Bonds, Adapted to Your Natural Density
K-Tips are individual hair extensions attached using small keratin bonds for discreet, flexible movement and a beautifully natural finish.
At Ambitious Lengths, I don't believe a pre-made bond should determine how much hair your natural hair has to carry.
That's why my K-Tips are prepared and customised to suit the individual client, allowing the size, weight and placement of the bonds to be adapted to your natural density.
Custom K-Tips
Your natural hair isn’t the same density everywhere on your head — so your extensions shouldn’t be either.
Smaller and lighter bonds can be used around finer or more delicate areas, while other sections may safely support more hair. This allows me to create a balanced result without unnecessarily overloading the natural hair.
Placement is also planned around your haircut, density and how you wear your hair.
Selected Following Consultation — Not From a Shade Number
K-Tips are available using carefully sourced single-donor Slavic and Mexican hair, individually selected to complement your natural colour, texture and density.
Natural straight, wavy and curly textures may be available depending on the donor hair sourced.
Each bundle is unique, so your hair is selected following consultation rather than simply ordered by a standard shade number.

Maintenance
K-Tips are generally worn for approximately three months before professional removal and refitting, although this varies depending on natural hair growth and density.
Unlike Fusion Bonding, my K-Tip maintenance is a two-stage process. The extensions are professionally removed before the old keratin is replaced and each bond is prepared again for refitting.
The hair can be reused provided it remains in suitable condition.
Are K-Tips Right for You?
K-Tips can work beautifully for many hair types, including fine hair when the bond size, weight and placement are correctly adapted.
But smaller bonds don't automatically mean safer extensions.
What matters is how much natural hair supports each extension, how the weight is distributed and where each bond is positioned.
That's why the method and fitting are decided following an assessment of your natural hair.

Beautiful extensions aren't about fitting as many bonds as possible. They're about using the right amount of hair, in the right places, with attachments your natural hair can comfortably support.
