Micro Rings hair extensions

Micro Rings Hair Extensions London

Individual, reusable extensions without heat or adhesive Micro Rings attach individual hair extensions using small colour-matched rings rather than keratin, glue or tape. They allow the extensions to move naturally from the root and, when suitable for the hair, provide a
practical reusable option for both length and volume. Density-matched fitting
There is no standard number of Micro Rings that everyone needs. Your natural hair determines how much extension hair should be attached.

The sections I take, the weight of each extension and the placement throughout your head are adapted according to your natural density. This is particularly important around finer areas where less weight may be required.

Why choose Micro Rings?

Bespoke single-donor hair
I don’t work from a standard colour chart or keep generic extension hair in stock. Your hair is individually sourced from available Slavic or Mexican single-donor bundles and selected according to your natural colour, texture and density. Because every donor bundle is different, the match is selected specifically for you.

Micro Ring maintenance

As your natural hair grows, the rings move further away from the scalp. Maintenance is normally required every 6-12 weeks, depending on your hair growth, density and fitting. The extensions are removed row by row and repositioned closer to the scalp. With appropriate care, good-quality single-donor hair can be reused repeatedly

Are Micro Rings right for you?

Not necessarily – and that’s the point of the consultation.
Some hair is better suited to bonded extensions, while other clients may benefit from a weft or another fitting method.
I’ll assess your hair and recommend what I believe is the most appropriate option rather than automatically fitting the method you initially had in mind.

What about Nano Rings?

I no longer offer new Nano Ring sets. The bespoke single-donor hair I currently work with isn’t supplied as Nano Ring extensions, so Nano Rings are not available for new transformations. Existing clients requiring Nano Ring maintenance can contact me directly.

FAQs

How long do micro ring extensions last?

Micro rings typically last up to 12 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows and how well you maintain them. Regular salon check-ups in London help prolong their life.

Yes! One of the biggest advantages of micro rings is that the hair can be reused multiple times. Only the rings need replacing during reapplication.
No. Micro rings are applied without heat, glue, or chemicals, making them one of the safest hair extension methods available when fitted professionally.
Absolutely. You can wash, curl, and straighten your hair just like your natural hair. Just avoid oil-based products near the rings to prevent slippage.

Suitability

Are Micro Rings Right for You?

Micro Rings attach small sections of hair using tiny rings, without heat or adhesive. For many clients this makes them a comfortable, flexible option.

But no attachment is automatically safer than another simply because nothing is bonded to the hair.

What matters is the size of each section taken, how much extension hair each ring carries and where the rings are positioned across your head.

That's why the method and fitting are decided following an assessment of your natural hair.
